The Beatles Emoji were commissioned by The Beatles Story museum, Liverpool. These character illustrations originally started life for a targeted social campaign, but over time became quickly became a ideal promotional illustration graphic for campaigns & exhibitions for the museum itself.

These Beatles were originally imagined as emoji for social campaign and rendered to be used at a tiny size. The characters illustrations progress through a career, style and hairdo timeline over four key periods over The Beatles history. From the Beatles early days in Hamburg, early years Beatles, Sgt. Peppers and the infamous ‘Abbey Road’ album.

Over time these characters made a unique identifiable marketing tool for The Beatles Story museum and they were easily adaptable and quick to change up and down to suit anniversary events of The Beatles career and marketing campaigns for the museum itself. These emoji were applied to anniversary exhibitions of prominent Beatles records such as the release of Sgt. Peppers, their time in India or more targeted and unique social campaigns.
